3 Neil Hans goals help FC Pom to victory

first_imgAfter a refreshing two weeks festive break, FC Pom returned with a big bang, thrashing Huawei PS United FC 6-0 today in round six of the southern conference.Jacob Sabua opened up the score board for FC Pom, scoring the first goal 24 minutes into the game, 1-0.Two minutes later, Hans charged in with another goal  to make it 2-0 followed by a double from Rolland Bala four minutes later with three minutes separating his two goals.FC Pom was on fire as they took the lead 4-0 just 33 minutes into the game.Hans scored his second goal four minutes later to put FC Pom ahead at half time 5-0.In just under 20 minutes, FC Pom scored a record of five goals in the NSL competition.PS United struggled to go past FC Pom’s strong defence put up by Cyril Muta and Rolland Bala.In the second half, Hans went on to score his third goal 49 minutes into the game to take his team to victory 6-0.In the main game, PKA Rapatona FC defeated Erema Gulf FC,  3-1.For the northern conference, Madang FC thrashed Besta PNG United FC 3-0 while Welgris Morobe United drew with Admiralty FC 1-1 at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium in Lae.Up in Goroka, the home team lost to champions Lae City Dwellers 4-0 at the National Sports Institute.Sunday will see Gigira Laitepo United FC face Hekari United FC at 3pm at Bisini in Port Moresby.last_img read more
