Hands Garners Summit League Men’s Tennis Player of the Week Honor

first_imgELMHURST, Ill. – For the second time this season, junior Tom Hands was named Summit League Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday, March 6. Hands leads the team with an overall 11-4 singles record and 12-5 doubles mark this season. Hands recorded a combined 4-0 singles and doubles record, including a pair of straight-set wins over Big Ten opponents. He defeated Indiana’s Antonio Cambellin (6-4, 6-4) and Purduue’s Stepahn Koenignsfest (6-3, 6-4) at No. 2 singles.
